Me llegó en perfecto estado y antes de lo esperado.
Siempre me gusta navegar por internet mirando páginas sobre cine y crítica para ver si las películas que me apetece ver valen la pena o mejor pasar y no perder el tiempo ni neuronas, y este caso no fue una excepción. La nota media era casi de aprobado, los críticos profesionales la ponían a parir diciendo, por ejemplo, que las carreras de Eddie Murphy y Robert De Niro estaban en las últimas y cayendo en picado y, por último, los espectadores estaban divididos aunque ligeramente ganaban los que la calificaban positivamente.
Por tanto, ante tal situación me arriesgué y valió la pena. No es una obra maestra, Odisea en el espacio o Gladiator, pero es una película muy solvente y entretenida con un gran reparto de actores, unas muy buenas actuaciones y un guión solvente bien dirigido. Showtime entretiene y no decae en ningún momento. Los 90 minutos que dura el filme se me pasaron volando y me dejaron con ganas de más y, para los no seguidores de Eddie Murphy, les diré que no resulta histriónico como en otras películas, sino que se contiene y consigue compaginar muy bien con su compañero.
100% recomendable para pasar una tarde de domingo agradable en familia, con humor, acción, explosiones y autocrítica.

Language can be iffy depending on the age of the watchers, so if you have little ones I'd screen it first to make sure you're ok with it.
