Waterworld is futuristic movie where all the polar ice caps melt and the entire planet has been covered with water. The world we know is no longer. The few people that managed to survive have had to adapt. This is a unique story line and when you toss in a Muto, an evil overlord and some excellent special effects you have a movie that deserves a place in your DVD library. The video transfer is very good on this movie. There are a few scenes with hints of grain or where the color is off a bit, but on the whole a well-done job! The Audio uses the full capacity of the Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack.
